The Policy Network is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee.
The organisation was formed in 1989 by a group of policy officers to address the implications of the Government’s initiatives, encourage networking and identify best practice. Above all, was the desire to disseminate their experiences to fellow practitioners, thus avoiding the pitfalls encountered by others and the need to reinvent the wheel.
Membership is by subscription and is open to anyone with an interest in subjects like policy, performance indicators, Best Value, scrutiny, strategy, management and best practice in public services.
