Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common primary hepatic cancer, and is one of the ten most common carcinoma in the world. It has the highest incidence in Southeast Asia, the western pacific region, and sub-Saharan Africa. Its occurance is closely related to HBV and HCV infections. |
