Hepatitis virus A is a 27 nm RNA virus, Enterovirus. Virus is shed in
stool during 7~10 days prior to the onset of illness till one week after
onset, therefore, it is not easy to prevent infection. Keeping the hand,
food, and dining utensils clean and uncontaminated is the most effective
way to prevent infection.
Natural cure comes 4~8 week after onset. Only under 1 % of victims may die from fulminant hepatitis. |
